Position Overview: As a CPO, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and fitting custom prosthetic and orthotic devices to meet the unique needs of each patient. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for individuals with mobility challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and determine the best prosthetic and orthotic solutions based on their physical condition, medical history, and lifestyle.
  • Design and fit custom devices using the latest technology and materials.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on the proper use and care of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure comfort, mobility, and overall satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on advancements in the field and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or eligible for certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the prosthetics and orthotics field (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
