, Civil Survey Operations Manager/Director – PLS – Remote

Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating survey operations, overseeing survey crews, managing projects, and ensuring quality control and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue opportunities through direct sales efforts, such as calling on key clients and following up with customers.
  • Establish, foster and maintain a proactive relationship with key contacts and decision makers.
  • Provide key information (i.e. working tactical plans, weekly summary status, future activity calendar, business plan details, etc.)
  • Consult on approach strategies in collaboration with operations and management personnel through regular briefings.
  • Gather pricing intelligence and work directly with Management to develop pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations in securing customer contracts and MSA’s.
  • Maintain an up-to-date, detailed customer database including discussion topics, action plans, follow-up requirements, and schedules.
  • Manage and coordinate survey operations for the new office, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Oversee survey crews and ensure they are properly trained and equipped.
  • Ensure project timelines are met and work is completed within budget.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be Licensed in GA, GL, CA, CO, VA
  • Experienced in sales and marketing
  • Experienced in organizing sales calls and schedules with detailed reporting
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail focused, self-motivated and team oriented
  • Must have superior time management and organization
  • Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining client relationships
