Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, design, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to patient needs.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal care plans.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring proper device functionality and comfort.
  • Educate patients and their families on the use, care, and maintenance of prosthetic/orthotic devices.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Stay current with advancements in prosthetics and orthotics to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
  • Eligible for state license in Arkansas
  • For Residents: Enrollment in or completion of an NCOPE-accredited residency program.
  • For Assistants: Prior experience in a prosthetic/orthotic setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
