Rock Hill, South Carolina System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic System Administrator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining a variety of systems and software, including the full range of Microsoft suite products and cloud services, VMware, SharePoint, and Citrix environments. Candidates with expertise in Exchange, SQL, programming or scripting languages, DLP/AIP, or advanced security protocols will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network devices, and software systems.
  • Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing any issues in a timely manner.
  • Configure, install, and maintain hardware and software systems, including operating systems, applications, and other components.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement best practices for system administration and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and technical information.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff, including training and troubleshooting assistance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration, including experience with Microsoft suite products and cloud services, VMware, SharePoint, and Citrix environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Knowledge of DLP/AIP or advanced security protocols.
  • Familiarity with cyber security concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

The starting salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s experience and skills, but will typically fall within the range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
