We are seeking a clinically driven Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) who is eager to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives while working within a close-knit private practice setting.

 

Position Overview

The Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist will be responsible for evaluating patients, designing and fitting custom orthotic and prosthetic devices, and providing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while contributing to the continued growth of a well-established private practice.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine orthotic and prosthetic needs.
  • Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthotic and prosthetic devices.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on proper use and care of devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical development efforts.

 

Qualifications

  • ABC-certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
  • Eligible for or currently holding Florida licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a small-team, private practice environment.
