As a Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist (CPO), you’ll play a vital role in assessing patient needs, creating custom devices, and providing expert care throughout the patient journey. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine prosthetic and orthotic needs and goals.
  • Design, fit, adjust, and optimize prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices for comfort, function, and performance.
  • Educate patients and their families on device usage, care, and long‑term success.
  • Collaborate with the clinical care team to coordinate holistic and patient‑centered treatment plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with clinical standards.
  • Provide leadership within the clinical team and participate in strategic planning that supports practice goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Current Board Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics (ABC) as a CPO.
  • Licensure eligibility or ability to obtain and maintain licensure in the State of Arkansas.
  • Strong understanding of prosthetic and orthotic device fabrication and clinical process.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care and outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology and techniques in O&P care.
